A MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR

Hi there and welcome to ‘Celebrate This Life’.

For some years my mikeshaft.com website has included tribute pages to friends
of mine who have died and the stories of living people who have inspired me along the way.

Thinking about the way we all like to celebrate the marriage, birthday or retirement of
such treasured folk, and the way we remember people after they’ve died, inspired me to dream up

celebratethislife.com

We want to offer you the opportunity to remember your friends and family in a way that
others can see and appreciate, and we hope that this site will remain in
place as long as the internet remains in place. This will be a site for positive messages only,
about our loved ones, with the opportunity to include a photograph and up to 700 words, for free.

We are setting up an Advisory Board to ensure that the site is run with the very highest moral values.
There will be no paid for advertising on personal pages; however, we will be happy to point you in the direction of people and places who are trying to make this world a better place.

For the first year of this site, there will be no fee – posting your stories and
photographs will be absolutely free.

However, after the introductory year there may be a small fee for new stories added to the site, part of which will go to Charity.  More photos or longer pieces could also be accommodated
at a small additional cost.

We do reserve the right to be selective in the stories that we publish.

'Celebrate This Life' launches on Christmas Day 2008.

We hope you’ll enjoy the stories we’ve gathered so far, and that you’ll also feel inspired to
celebrate those you love or who’ve inspired you by adding your stories too.

So do enter in and browse the site and see all the wonderful things people
are saying about their loved ones, and possibly about you.

If you have something you'd like to say about those you love, then
this is the place to say it; further, if you have any comments about
celebratethislife.com then e-mail us now at

With very Best Wishes for this Christmas season and for a very happy 2009,
